SAFECLAW replaces rig tongs during changing of the drilling machines intermediate sub, IBOP, saver sub and dataswivel (WDP-ops)

Safeclaw is a mechanical tool to be placed directly into the rotary table, consisting of:

• Clamping-cylinders.
• Clamping-jaws w/dies from Powerjaws.
• Hydraulic remote-control panel.
  

Safeclaw IRIS “Arm Mounted” can be used either on a Cally driven derrick, or with a Top Drive driven derrick. 

• The Safeclaw Iris arm and the foundation will be arranged to an actual rig. This depend how the rig-floor is arranged and space.
• The stickup adjustment can be extended if necessary.
• The arm can also be arranged as a knuckle arm, if we lack space on rig-floor.
• Safeclaw Iris will be operated by hydraulic remote control panel.
• In operation, there are no need for roughneck on the rig-floor while tripping.
• Safeclaw Iris is designed to handle Bottom Hole assembly.  The Safeclaw Iris It can be arranged as “Rail`s Driven”.

Abelon’s Hangoff Tool keeps the Conductor fixed during cementing and curing of the cement in the top hole. The Hangoff Tool is designed to hold weights up to 250 tons and can be moved from slot to slot without use of crane.

The Inspection Sub carries out live recording of inspection of BOP/ X-mas tree and wellhead.  Abelon’s Inspection sub is fitted directly to a drill pipe stand.

Betro-Lock is used temporarily to seal pipes and valves. Abelon’s Betro-Lock plugs are designed for closing and opening pipes in several dimensions, reducing the use of chemicals and preventing accidental discharges to the sea.
